Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I took my lad to a presentation on the City BTEC course at Oldham college a few weeks ago as he's weighing up his options after his GCSE's

The lad from City who did one of the talks was outstanding. Really enthusiastic and inspiring for the young 'uns there

Anyway he touched on the City degree which could follow the BTEC, and is run at the CFA in partnership with MMU

He said Peps son is currently studying for this degree at the CFA
That degree is run by the UCFB, a lad I know graduated from it last year

If I was Rice I’d be looking at West Ham and thinking “I’m miles better off here than at United”.

Same with Kane and Spurs.
I suppose the counter is they'll pay you a wheelbarrow full of cash, won't care too much about your performances, and re-sign you on better contracts no matter what. But yeah if you care about winning anything there are plenty of other clubs around Europe you should be looking at first.

Rumours stating that Arsenal are planning to sign Brazil's manager Tite from 2023/24 season. Maybe this means Arteta will return to City and Pep won't extend. This is the only way I can see this making sense as they finally got it right with a manager in Arteta.

Whoever comes in after Pep will be a massive downgrade, unless they offer it me but I'm busy with other stuff at the moment.

There's nobody as good as Pep of course so I assume the club will look for the most charismatic, likeable guy they can find and give him strict instructions to play a lot of youth in order to soften the blow of losing the best manager of all time.

At this point Paddy has impressed a lot more than Arteta has and I still wouldn't give either of them the job yet.
