I asked @Gary James this a while back, and he said that during the 1920s and '30s, we were the dominant side, so there are probably a few more years to go yet.

From 1929 to 1938 we finished above them, but they were relegated in 1931 so weren't in the same division for most of that time. They were promoted in 1938, when we were relegated as defending champions.

Things I took from that game.
1. Everton are fucking gash
2. utd are fucking gash.
3. Pogba can't start in a fucking gash utd team and the posters wanting him here are batshit crazy.
4. Everton fans are that used to how fucking gash they are they cheer yet another Pickford long ball going into touch and go even crazier when they manage one of their very few 3 yard passes that reach a teammate.

For two of our supposedly top teams in the almighty Premier league that was so short on quality both teams should be fined... Then relegated.

Watching those teams today was the football equivalent of a boxing match between a blind man and a man without any arms. How anyone managed to land a punch God only knows!

On an individual level it was like watching 22 stray cats frantically running around the park surrounded by 40,000 barking alsatians. Just a painful watch for the football purists amongst us, but good to see United lose nonetheless.

Watching them today, one team was pushing to get into the top 4 and the other team was desperately looking for a result to cement their bottom 4 position..

If you didn't have an interest in football and tuned in you'd have no fkin idea who was who..!

This is the frustrating thing amongst all the hilarity and piss taking... the truth of it is united really are that poor their standard of football is no better than even those teams that are in the relegation positions, yet united are still in with a shout of a Champs League place.
It just shows how much help and assistance they still get from the officials.
