Bossed the midfield, our build-up and everything was going through Bernardo..

And Rodri of course.

Rodri-Bernardo partnership is the cornerstone

I saw Rodri and Bernie playing as CBs at times lol.

Great pairing from deep, let Gundogan and KdB do the damage up top with the forwards.

Superb. Every single big game requires Bernardo in that position, closes every gap Rodri might otherwise leave and is virtually impossible to press into a mistake. We lose without him, it's that simple.

Yep, but that's not the first time it happened..

In 2018 (when Mahrez missed the penalty), Pep gave Bernardo similar role and he was perfect..
Since then in 2019 (Sane goal), last year and this season Pep has used Bernardo like that and he always delivers, because that's where he is the best.

Bernardo is the best player with the ball-control skills, fantastic first touch, fantastic dribble, in this topic we had statistics of Bernardo and he looses the ball once in every 1.5 game, which is phenomenal result.

And when you have good build-up and find KDB near the opponent's box, that's always the goal threat and KDB showed it today..

If KDB is tired, rotate him with Gundo and everything is fine..

Pep just shouldn't break Rodri-Bernardo partnership, at least in the big games and like today, we will be able to crush any opponent, doesn't matter it's an away game or home..

Bernardo runs through brick walls for the team, starts every big game from now until the end of the season.

Shame the referee didn't punish the leg breaking tackle on him. Fabinho (Liverpool's player of the season) could not handle him.

He barely looked like he could move tonight. Should have been pulled earlier I think. A huge ask to get him to recover for Saturday.

Not sure what Pep was thinking playing him where he did at the start. How can he continue to watch his performances next to Rodri and still move him? Looked out on his arse early into the second half. We really need him for Liverpool but I fear it's a game too far.
