Erling Haaland

Lots of reports on this Tchouameni incoming too, so my guess is him.
That would be epic particularly as RM press seem to be saying he wants a PL club and won’t wait for them.

I don’t know though as @tolmie's hairdoo said not to expect a Declan Rice type signing and more of a Rodri backup. Tchouameni would fall between a cheap option and a fortune so I don’t know now.

There are several PL clubs after him too.

I've just had a red dipper I work with on skype (one of the rare decent ones) saying they need to win the league this year cos with KDB and Haaland it's the only chance they'll have to get near us.....He loves KDB !!!

An LFC mate who’s clearly getting salty about this move already:

“It isn’t actually mate. And if you were on the receiving end you’d fucking hate it. How we are competing and knocking you out of competitions under the circumstances is nothing short of incredible”

Mad isn't it, considering all of these are common Liverpool fan beliefs:

- Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the league, if not the world
- Alexander-Arnold is the best right-back in the world
- Van Dijk is the best centre-back in the world
- Matip is one of the best centre-backs in the league
- Konate (formerly Gomez before they realised they were wrong about him) is one of the best young centre-backs in the world
- Robertson is the best left-back in the league, if not the world
- Tsimikas is the best back-up left-back in the world
- They have the best back four in the world on paper
- Fabinho is the best DM in the league, if not the world
- Henderson (!) was one of the best players in the league last season
- Thiago is one of the best midfielders in the world
- Harvey Elliot is one of the best youngsters in the world
- Salah is the best player in the league, if not the world
- They have the best attack in the world

And there's one more, which, if it were true, would raise the question of why the fuck Liverpool (with that world-beating squad) aren't winning everything:

- Klopp is the best manager in the world and one of the greatest ever

In an older post he said Haaland a DM and a left back though he didn’t have names.

He didn’t mention outgoings but Carson and Fern have contracts up this Summer.
Cheers. Interesting that we’re targetting a LB rather than a RB, with Cancelo and Zinchenko playing on the left. I’d be happy with Wijndal, Mitchell or Sergio Gomez

I'm starting to wonder if people are just repeating this because they've heard other people say it.

He's had 3 injuries - a hamstring pull in 2020, a hip strain and this ankle swelling that's not entirely diagnosed.

All of them were <1 month layoffs. They're not serious injuries, jsut growing pains. Combine them all and he's been out for less time than Foden was with his foot injury picked up at the Euros.

Hamstring injuries at the age of 19/20 is a bit of a concern, but hopefully it is just growing pains.

Personally I wouldn't believe anything sky sports says the girl on there just said 2 of are main rivals are playing tonight they clearly make there own headlines up.
That said I would be jolly happy if we signed this young man.
