If we get him and I’m still not getting excited but this is a WE ARE MAN CITY and we are showing our teeth and we can do what we want . Massive marquee signing as this guy is potentially the best striker in the world .
 
Really struggling to keep my giddyometer in check, I’m 99.9% reeled in, but just can’t let myself go after the various disappointments over the years.

It will be the biggest signing for me in my lifetime so far, as I just can’t wait to see the re-boot of our side with this monster up front, proper reinvigoration of my wish to watch us play next season.

True, but if you have paid it, You don't want the player essentially sitting in Limbo, It would probably be preferable for all parties to get him signed and get it done as opposed to waiting in Limbo for the next two weeks.
