Had an email today re our seats in Tier 2 East Stand. Price will go up to £1750 due to a new sports bar going in behind them. Been offered seats in 93:20 area at current price (950) held for 3 years. Anyone sit there at present or know what it’s like? Any informed views welcome. Thanks.

Been in 209 part of the 93:20 section since it opened. Has 3 large bars, which run around all that end of the stadium. can buy food and drink. Order drinks for half time, oh has comfy seats as well.

I would take the deal if you have good peole in your block. It’s just a restricted bar and a free programme in 93:20 but it’s OK.

It's 2 years at the same price as your current ST

"We would like to offer you an opportunity to relocate to another location within the stadium for the equivalent price of your 2021/22 Season Ticket, including seats in the 93:20 bar which also incorporate the first three domestic cup games.
The price for your new Season Ticket would remain the same for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, after which it would return to the full prevailing rate."

Id take it for two years just for the cup games and then move on after that.
My brother is in there with his kids, its a decent view about level with the SS penalty area.
Only problem is it can be chock full of tourists, daytrippers and occasionally away fans

Correct, thanks. Any idea what “prevailing rate” is at present?

Atmosphere isn't the best, but padded seats and the bar and food options are decent! Plus you get a free programme! Seems like a bargain at that price?
Not sure actually, but I thought it was classed as corporate and that's not a million miles away from what I'm paying in 121 so it seems good. I've been up there a few times when my mate who works for the club has sorted me out, it's worth it imo to not have to fight to try and get a beer at half time and to have a barstool to sit at before the game, very classy, but without having the whole suit and no colours rules.

Guess this means prices are going up again.

I think they are or owned by companies to hand them to whoever they want to go to each match.
I think that happens and in the past the CB 93:20 blocks have been linked with travel Companies / packages. The Scandinavian Supporters Club have some seats in that block and they don’t make every game (but they try to sell on their seats).

Yeah, before I had my season ticket I'd get tickets up there because the companies would have to give names before a certain time so my mate would know how many empties there were. Definitely a fair few travel partners and the like.

Good to see City looking after their working class fanbase again. When half the ground is corporate then god help the manager complaining about lack of atmosphere. How many more fans will be forced to relocate for hospitality / advertising hoardings / UEFA wankers etc

I don’t think we need more premium seats atm but it might be part of the plan for the new North Stand to be free from corporate boxes. There isn’t an atmosphere in those blocks but I don’t like to see Blues pushed out (albeit over time).
