I haven't seen this posted anywhere so here goes. The reason I see Steffen leaving is it appears as of two days ago he is still in a relationship with Janine Beckie who left City recently to play for the Portland Thorns in the U.S.
Zach just signed an extension to 2025 five months ago in Nov, but I would guess he'd want to follow her back to the U.S. as well. Specifically to the Portland Timbers MLS side.
I have no other info on this other than Beckie left and you'd think he'd be joining her this summer. Unless she's on some very short term deal with the Thorns.

Bazunu has a great future feeling we will sell him though as hes probably going to want to leave as top division clubs are interested.Not sure why people think we need another forward if Jesus leaves. I’m guessing we won’t be able to sell Sterling due to his wages and preference of clubs, so he’ll go on a free next year. That leaves:
Haaland, Alvarez, Mahrez, Grealish, Sterling, Palmer for the forward line and that doesn’t include Foden who’s primarily played there the last two years or Delap (who I’m guessing we’ll try to loan out).
De Bruyne, Foden, Gundogan, Rodri, McAtee, Lavia, a new midfielder, and (hopefully) Bernardo.
Think Zinny will be off, so a new LB, Cancelo, Walker, and then a promotion for JWE and/or Kabore. CB’s stay as is and if Steffen wants to leave I think it’s more likely we bring in a veteran. Bazunu and Trafford should go on loan to get experience.

You're asking the impossible wanting a backup as close in the quality as Ederson our main keeper, for the backup he the best we can get that willing to play a second GK where he could play elsewhere as main starter keeper.
Unless you want our club to pull PSG, paying absurd amount of money just to get a world class keeper as backup then forget it. There's more priority position that need to be strengthened first.

Yep major pep clanger. Has a habit of dropping them for big games frustratingly but we love himI found it strange that Pep is so tactic orientated in that he chooses players and tactics specifically for each game yet leaves out Ederson against Liverpool, when they press so hard.

When you take away that for the big games it will hit the moral of the player and likely other members of the squad, especially fringe players. We have seen this happen at United and Chelsea where they have full internationals being sidelined and looking to leave the clubs
You have to keep them involved in pressured games or you will have a problem if you lose your no1 keeper going forward.
The German league is probably the best league after our own using that logic we should only buy players from other premier league clubs. I don’t know what it is nerves lack of games but I don’t believe he is a bad player or not suited to our system.
