From what I've heard from within the club, he won't be seen again this season, unfortunately.
Hope the info is wrong but it is normally reliable
Massive blow to the remainder of our season if true. Especially for CL, likes of Vinicius would be a cakewalk for Walker to lock up and keep silent.

Walker being out would be a massive blow.

The immediate worry would obviously be next Tuesday against Madrid with Cancelo also suspended. I expect it will be a Ake - Laporte - Dias - Stones backline. Uninspiring attacking wise, but should be defensively solid.

Going forward, I've really been liking Ake at LB, so him lining up with Cancelo at RB isn't the worst scenario in the world. But obviously no one can do what Walker does and shut down a flank by himself.

if stones is okay we'll be alright, it's imperative that he's fit for the rest of the season

A few of us called Walker potentially being a bad one when he did it. I wonder if him not trying to play on would have made any difference.

Oof. Big blow if indeed true.. Maybe 5atb with Jesus out on the right wing to help and contain Vinicius when the time comes.

37 year old Ferna can hardly do any job, so I doubt he'll be playing Cancelo or Walker's role of going up and down the pitch for 90. Rather Egan-Riley start
I didnt see Stones going up & down the pitch when he played that position. Fernandinho would be asked to play to his abilities.

It doesn't make sense to keep Walker's injury in secret if it's so bad that he won't play again this season. It's not like we will surprise the opposition by remaining silent on the extent of the injury, given that Pep says before any game who's available. The club must have known by Monday how bad the injury is. That nothing definitive has been said so far makes me optimistic rather than pessimistic.

If walker is out for the rest of the season then play the EDS/youth lad and not somebody covering
would not care too much if we lost if the young lad played. but if somebody is use as a covering player and fucks up then everybody would be moaning.

i really think pep has to trust the younger players more ? they play the system so know the role better than stones or somebody else. lets hope walkers injury is not that bad and the risk will be taken in the game vs real madrid and not watford

Eagan-Reilly is no where near the level we need for a run in like we have. I think Wilson-Esbrand is much closer to what we need but again it's a massive ask/risk

Pep won't through youngsters under the bus imagine if a mistake by him costs us the league and champs lge it could destroy his career.
