I’m a critic myself at times, but you’re overreacting imo.
I’m also a critic at times but agree with every word you said.

I never thought about Brentford, they haven’t got any songs to be fair. Not it's not.
I'm watching Brentford v Spurs.(in town) The atmosphere is shite. The song list is non existent.
We've got a good catalog of chants compared to many other PL fans at other clubs.
We have numerous chants about our players, more so than most PL clubs.
Not having a pop at you, but we get too caught up in the negativity about our support and chants at the Emptyhad. ;-)
As a rule, we're no worse or better than any other set of PL fans at home
The opponents, match, and score line will always dictated the atmosphere at matches in this country, and always will do.
Awful today, the flattest and quietest I've known it in ages. I'm in the south stand and us usual singers tried but loads just stood there like Muppets silent looking at us like we're nuts. I shouted, "You're in the standing and singing section, fuck off elsewhere if you don't want to sing. Some young lads laughed and said "You tell them" but I didn't hear much out of them either. Loads of new faces near me with city shop bags so probably tourists. No idea how we ever improve it I've given up to be honest.

Hardly anyone around the ground joins in with the players chants. As cool and as original as some are, they are no popular whatsoever. Hardly anyone knows them and most that do aren’t interested. Most of SSL1 aren’t even interested in them.
And when a player chant would be appropriate, like Jesus today when he scored his fourth, the song that went up was “Here’s to you Vincent Kompany…”. The other week when Jesus did a cracking move and won a corner the song that went up was “Oh Pablo Zabaleta he is the fucking man…”.
But if we simply sung about City and the atmosphere will be a lot better.
Another reason to add to the list:Watford at home, a relatively easy game and a 4 goal cushion. Hardly conducive to a cauldron of emotion.
Bigger fish to fry.
At least if the atmosphere isn't rocking it gives fans like you another reason for a good moan which I reckon you probably enjoy.Yep it’s very embarrassing. Think ours is the quietist ground in the country at the moment and we’re going for the title. Was there a fire drill again? It’s good for getting out and home quick for us because our stiff fans have got a 20 min headstart on the ones that stay like my group. I suggest the 84 group forget displays and just concentrate on the lack of vocal support. Time to pre record some atmosphere through the PA system again because it’s a joke.
Maybe you and Stevie would be better off getting some headphones and piping in some "atmosphere" to your heart's content.Another reason to add to the list:
“It was 0-0 for ages and everyone was tense”
“It was a big game against a big rival and everyone was tense”
“The opposition sat back all game”
“It was too cold”
“It was too hot”
“The traffic was too bad”
“It’s nearly Christmas”
“Town was full of Christmas shoppers so the Mets were too busy”
“We scored too many goals and it was too easy”
every game is the same unless its rags / scousers etcEarly leavers must be mad.
They leave early whether it’s a 12:30/14:00/15:00/16:00/17:30/19:45/20:00 kick off. Either - you can’t really be arsed supporting city, or you’re whipped and need to hurry home to the wife!
Title run in, brilliant result, huge game on Tuesday…. What more can you ask for?
The mentality of some of our supporters is shit.

So that's almost saying there will be about 4 home games a season with good atmospheres ? We're going for a title and it's really quiet most of the game and the ground is near half empty at full time.At least if the atmosphere isn't rocking it gives fans like you another reason for a good moan which I reckon you probably enjoy.
If you think our atmosphere is the worst in the country I doubt if you go to many away games.
Today we played a poor team who are going down, and they had a small travelling support.Always unlikely to be rocking as it was an easy win.
lol.Two fellas next to me spent 85 minutes slagging off Grealish, moaning in general and didn’t join in one song. And that’s in the south stand standing area. I don’t care if these fuckers have supported City for 50 years, used to do every home and away, spent decades on the Kippax or whatever, we have far too many whingeing old cunts turning up out of habit who have no clue that this is the best football they’ve ever seen or will ever see. We‘d be better off without them and I wish they’d just fuck off.

A lot of these excuses for not selling out I agree are ridiculous.Another reason to add to the list:
