What a game from this guy. For me head and shoulders above the rest. Getting into that GOAT territory.

So majestic on the ball but a beast off it.

There is no other player in the world with his skill level that also has the heart to match. I constantly see him track back just as hard in the 80th minute as the 1st, while others are jogging beside him.

Easily the best midfielder in the world and we're very fortunate to have him.
 
Sensational first half, looked a bit goosed second half and couldn't blame him for such an incredible effort first half. He did enough in that first 45 alone to have won us the game more comfortably. If he stays fit I just can't see him allowing us to lose, will always produce when required.
 
Is there anyone in the world like him? He’s got all the best traits of Silva, Toure & Fernandinho, and takes big games by the scruff of the neck like Kompany. Will go down as the Prem’s greatest ever midfielder.
 
Taking everything into account, the best player ever to play for City, surely?

This won't be a popular thing to say, but if you're saying Colin Bell was as good or better than De Bruyne, you're saying Colin Bell must have been one of the greatest players of all time, because Kevin certainly is.
 
After an off the scale start his influence did fall away as the game progressed. It’s not realistic to ask him
to maintain the intensity demanded of Bernardo and Phil?? Age and injury say no. Also once opposition figures out his play they limit his space . He is our quarterback but is asked to run about like a blue arsed fly.
