If he stays I think it’s probably too late to affect our deal for Haaland if it ever could.

It would however be funny if RM got neither.

How much truth in the article I don’t know but it seems like a direct quote from the Manager and a strange thing to say if untrue.

"Asked of the likelihood of him and Mbappe being at Parc des Princes next season, Pochettino said: "100% in both cases.

"That is how I feel today. That is what I can say to you today. I can't say anything else. That is how I feel right now.

However, Pochettino said there have been no official discussions with the club about his future.

"There haven't been any concrete talks, beyond what is normal in terms of our plans and what we have been doing so far," he said."

Sounds a bit different when you drill down the article a bit. Mbappé was all up for bouncing last summer & has said nothing about his future all season.

Signing a new deal ends the speculation. What Pochettino's just said is essentially as he sees it at this moment, but anything can change in football.

Looks like he was pressured for a quote & gave the only logical one he could give in the circumstances... He's not been told he's sacked & Mbappé hasn't officially revealed his plans either, so it's as it was innit? )(

It also amazes me that we all watched that game on Tuesday and people could still think Madrid would have a bigger pull
