We don't seem to be able to manage the game late on. Play teams at their own game, go down under every challenge, act like a sniper got you, slow the game, stop the game, quieten the crowd anything to make sure you win.

I don't like it but you have to do what's needed to get the job done particularly away from home

If RM were winning 1-0 at the Etihad with a few minutes to go they would not have lost the game.

Peak Sergio in our last half Dozen games would have us at least 4 points clear at the top of the league and in another final of champs league! Not getting a top striker in has cost us big time!

At least it looks like we will have 2 strikers next season.

A top striker didn't cost us this game, we had already done the business. We just had to keep our ego under control and ride the remaining minutes out BUT we wanted to make a footballing statement, we wanted to trash Madrid at their own backyard, well that doesn't always work out now, does it?

Love the sound of a big Diane;) They killed it after the pen, took advantage of the way we looked shell shocked, with the ref helping them to kill it. Amongst all the dazed after that I did think Sterling looked lost, no idea where he was supposed to be.

Remember when we made it to a semi final twice and a final in the last 10 years. Remember when we got out of the group stage 8 years running? Yes, we've lost, but its a cup competition. Shit happens. We were fucking epic at Atletico. We were fucking epic at PSG last year. We were good for 179 mins this year. Its not mental. It's football.
