Really need Grealish and Sterling to step up - what's the chances of that at this stage of the season?

Well Grealish was excellent when he came on, retained possession, made good attacking runs and was very unlucky with two excellent efforts.

Courtois got his fingertips on it, that's what top keepers do. By comparison, Raheem really did nothing, and excuse me, but apart from his goal (which Courtois is frankly really at fault on) Riyad Mahrez did virtually nothing, and absolutely nothing in the first half.
I don't get why people are getting on Grealish's case so heavily. Give the guy a season, and full ninety-minute games (a great rarity, so far) — then judge.

When did I say Newcastle were?

I said for those expecting a ruthless backlash against Newcastle that we probably won't - not that we'll lose. We haven't tended to drub teams this season.

We're usually, under Pep, far and away with the most goals. Not this season.

Excuse me, everybody, but when Raheem Sterling was bought, he too was the most expensive English player that there'd been. He looked downright lost under Pellegrini in his first season. And people were saying the exact same thing.
I'm not talking about his recent form, but he came pretty good in the intervening seasons, didn't he?
