Under Pep & playing more in an advanced role he would be decent

My only concern is his work off the ball, not what he does with it.

For France, he is still a top player.

If he's willing to take the move, he clearly has the balls and the motivation to improve with Pep.

That’s the bit that makes me double think too - watching him for France, he’s something else. Like when he’s mentally there and wanting to play (let’s face it, he hasn’t wanted to be at the rags for years) then he’s up there with most in Europe.

I wouldn’t take him over any of the others we’ve been linked with, though like FDJ or Bellingham.
