The memes will be epic should that occur and is far more preferable than wall to wall Films/Docs/radio shows that will fill the empty summer months should the bastards win everything.

Liverpool fans can't seem to grasp that not everyone follows a team because of trophies. If that was the case, no League 2 or non-league clubs would have fans, and yet they do. Some of us actually enjoy football for the love of the game and not just because it's an opportunity to go round giving it the big one because MY CLUB HAS MORE TROPHIES THAN YOURS ERMAHGERD.

It’s truly astonishing that they think they’ve got the right to pontificate about their European record. As if six European Cups/Champions League wins, the majority of which predate 1985, somehow mitigates the contrition and humility they should feel and display for their unlawful and fatal acts.

If they took responsibility for what happened at Heysel, and didn’t try to shift the blame elsewhere, or simply ignore it, then it certainly wouldn’t grate so much. They shouldn’t be expected to wear sackcloth and ashes ad infinitum, but maybe they should own what they caused a little more, and reflect upon it, before boasting about their European trophy haul.

One should not be allowed to extinguish the memory of the other.

The truth is, by any objective analysis, in terms of what really matters, and despite our disappointing record in the CL, their European record cannot be said to be superior to ours.

To suggest otherwise offends the memory of 39 people who never returned from a game.

And not only that, but they love rubbing it in Everton fans' faces as well. That we missed out on a chance of European silverware because of them. They're actually fucking proud of the fact that they stopped us having a shot at the trophy by getting English clubs banned. I mean, who cares about 39 dead Italians, it's not like they were human beings or anything.

So, we had a 14 pont lead but they had 3 games in hand. So in reality a 5 point lead. So since January they have cut that lead to 3 ponts. So, in essence, they have clawed back 2 points in 3 months....?
