And we’re all singing , Kevin deBruyne-ooo”“City win twelve in a row…”
Not said well enough.Very well said.
True but Brentford had the home crowd, decent form, still riding on the euphoria of coming up and the advantage of them being something of an unknown entity then. None of those will be applicable tomorrow. Praying they get the job done despite that but not expecting it. Brentford and Arsenal have the potential to basically end their season but for the champions league within a week. Please!Brentford terrorised them down there the same day we beat Chelsea away
Read this on RAWK a minute ago:
'I actually had a lot of respect for the old City. Decent local fanbase, proper ground (Maine Road), strong away support, mutual hatred of United. All gone now, I have more respect for United than the desperate club that City has now become.'
Translation:
'I liked it when City knew their place, their throats beneath ours and United's foot. I don't like that they're now better than us'.
The thing is, I don't even hate Liverpool like a lot of you guys here do. I like watching them play too. But I totally understand why you hate them and I think if I was a rival of theirs they'd get on my tits too. Their elitist condescending attitude towards 'little and undeserving City who we liked more when they weren't a threat' is a very ugly character trait and they'd be better people if they eradicated it. United fans do it too, they started hating Spurs more as Spurs started finishing above them. Before that they didn't see them as a threat so didn't mind them too much. They call other clubs like Everton small clubs too. Yeah Everton aren't as big a club as Liverpool, but so what? They're still a respected and long-standing club who have played a big part in English football. And so were City before the takeover. Just because a club isn't winning stuff doesn't mean they're useless. What Pool and United and Arsenal fans don't get is that clubs who win fuck all are the VAST MAJORITY and without these clubs there would be no leagues or tournaments to compete in anyway.Ask one of these fucking cretinous pricks what happened to all those that made up the decent support when we were shit and watch the sheer confusion on their face when they have to try and claim 34k city fans following their team in league 1 decided to ditch their club the second winning trophies, every fans dream, became a very real possibility to try and make their moronic ramblings make some form of sense.
They hate us because we're making their greatest ever side completely irrelevant and it's fucking glorious. The entire country owes City a huge thanks when Liverpool finally settle back down for their next 30 years of winning fuck all.

Just sheer big club elitism that the clubs in my country are guilty of too, and I don't wanna associate myself with that shite. I know if other clubs win something (that aren't elitist clubs like Liverpool or United or Chelsea or Arsenal etc) at the expense of City, you guys will take the attitude ' you beat us fair and square and we weren't good enough this time, but we have won plenty already, so enjoy your turn'. You wouldn't begrudge a team you have no hatred of winning something. I get the feeling United and Liverpool fans would be annoyed if a relatively inoffensive club like Watford or Bournemouth won the FA Cup.

I dunno, I know they're something of a bizarre cult but I have met some of their fans and they were pleasant and friendly. But i know you can't go by that. I mean I wouldn't care if they never won anything ever again, but I wouldn't say I hate them. I rate a lot of their players and view them as easily the second best team in the league. But I also think they'll decline much more when Klopp goes than City will when Pep goes. You might be the first football fan I've ever come across that isn't a Liverpool fan, that doesn't despise Liverpool.
