Happens Everywhere probably not the extent of us though

But nobody knows it. I go to every home game and a handful of aways and I can’t say I’ve ever been aware of it. We need to use more tried n tested generic songs ie “there’s only one Phil Foden” that everyone can join in with. There's already a Foden song?
Guardiola do you know what he's worth,
Phil Foden is the best on earth,
He comes from Stockport and he plays in sky blue,
He loves City and he hates Man U
With respect, there’s only one Phil Foden is a bit shit for a generational talent. But nobody knows it. I go to every home game and a handful of aways and I can’t say I’ve ever been aware of it. The debate on here recently regarding the unfit for purpose Zinchenko song laid bare the problems. People were suggesting sort of online tutorials where you could “learn” the song on YouTube ffs. As an alternative one guy suggested singing “Zin - Chen - Ko” to the tune of “Here We Go” - simple yet stunningly effective because everybody knows the words.
Agreed but artistic merit isn’t the aim here. The only point of singing a song about a player is to let that player know how much he’s appreciated. 50k people singing a dull stale old song that booms around the stadium cos everyone knows it is immeasurably better for morale and atmosphere than a few hundred lads singing a song that nobody else picks up on because they don’t know itWith respect, there’s only one Phil Foden is a bit shit for a generational talent.

Cheers. It's enjoyable seeing Liverpool and MU fans still - a decade on from "Agueerrooo" - failing so badly to deal with City being such serious contenders.I think most match-going fans would recognise that Newcastle (like City) have had good attendances for most of their history. The only dip was in the 80s when crowds collapsed everywhere for well documented reasons (hooliganism, Heysel disgrace, economic collapse, etc etc). I was at St James Park for Paul Gascoigne's debut v QPR when the crowd was about 20,000 but in that era attendances were lower at every club. Best of luck for next season. I would love Newcastle to disrupt the cartel clubs even more.
Don't get me started on tourists. But nobody knows it. I go to every home game and a handful of aways and I can’t say I’ve ever been aware of it. We need to use more tried n tested generic songs ie “there’s only one Phil Foden” that everyone can join in with.

The history of never having a top flight average attendance below 21k, even amid the shite of the mid-late 80s (selling Waddle, Beardsley, Gazza and relegation etc)?Paulchapo. Laugh at the banality of the argument. It’s the only stick they have let to beat us with. They were spanked and it hurts. Barcode fans lecturing Blues on the necessity to support the team. The irony is brilliant given the history of their crowds.
everyone in a rush to go nowhere, bit like fast drivers in cars.
Rangers have a song called i am feeling it. Basically a dance song. Gets the place bouncing and everyone joining in. We should start looking at dance songs and using them. Always thought rhythm of the night could be used to create a great song for a player.
Agree with what’s been said, we definitely need a Foden song that everyone can get on board with, and he most definitely deserves one.
Oh Phil Foden is magic
He wears a magic hat
And if you take a pop at him
His Mum will twat you back
She'll hit you with a left
She'll hit you with a right
And when we win the League again we'll sing this song all night!
Don’t usually waste much time on twitter but came across this……..
5 minutes to go 3-0 up and they are leaving, man city you don't deserve anything
They’re under the thumb mate. Has to be the only excuse most of them have, it’s THOUSANDS of people.I never really understood it, ok you get home a bit earlier but what is it you do at home that is so important it really cant wait? everyone to there own I guess.
