Etihad Atmosphere - 2021/22

As fucking embarrassing as they were, at least they were active and doing something.

I thought that was the worst atmosphere of the season today and it was our biggest home game so far in the Prem.

Absolutely woeful from us in the stands. Most of the ground were completely silent all game, and when the singing sections did bother to sing (which wasn’t often today) it was continuing with their obsession of singing songs the rest of the ground never join in with.

Total joke of an atmosphere that today!

Poor excuse I know, but don't think the weather helped at all, loads missing as well today

And when them cockney bastards are going on about empty seats & no atmosphere you know it’s a bad day

It’s a fight you can’t win. I can think of a number of clubs’s fans who go to… how shall I put it? celebrate themselves… but I’m happy hearing the side-splitting library chants from fans who’ve travelled 200 miles to watch their team get gently twatted by the Blue Ballet on Ice. I sing my head off, and it’s usually pretty quiet, with a few honourable exceptions, up in the nosebleed rows of New Kippax.

The phone lights in ES3 were from kids. Row after row of them. They’ll grow out of it.

Good win today.

Too many people patting themselves on the back about the atmosphere on Wednesday when the support for the lads was piss poor today.

Credit to the few Blues who tried to get behind the team.

The level of atmosphere is directly proportional to the sense of jeopardy the team are in.

It was a stroll in the park today.

Did anything happen between half time and Declan Rice’s speculative shot on about 75 mins?

I can remember Jesus should have scored when Cresswell cannoned into the post and had to go off.

Apart from that, I can’t remember anything happening.

It’s more proportionate to the level of passion in the stands. There wasn’t a lot today but people pay their money and take their choice.
