If that is how you see it so be it, i could not say you are wrong , I always took it that Pep pulling him us because. Pep believed he could be better, Sterling might have ran more than Sane but Sane actually put a tackle in, something Sterling has just started doing.

That's not to say I didn't love Sane. He was great and i was gutted when he left. Not sure I'd take him back now though. As other posters have said, I think we've moved on and I don't think there's a a nostalgic case for it either as I don't think he had quite the connection with the fans that other players did.

That said, I think it would need to be a deal on our terms and for that reason Bayern would sell elsewhere. Plus I think if we looked at the position with fresh eyes, what we need now is not potentially what Sane is now.

But he was an exciting player, him and Haalaad would probably be able to break so quickly from a Kev through ball that they'd be the only two outfield players in their penalty box most of the time.

I’m on the same page as this, usually reluctant on ‘returns’ as they invariably aren’t as good as they were the first time around.
