Alright we might have a makeshift defence, but it shouldn't stop us from scoring goals, with our midfield and forward line, just look at our previous results.
By the way my arse is twitching like a parrots eyeball
The fact we have a makeshift defence might help us.
i expected wolves to defend deep like they did in the home game.
but they obviously felt they could get at us and pressed.

we know what we are capable of if teams come out and take us on.

I’m not sure we should be dropping Rodders into the back four, as this only serves to weaken the midfield. We must surely have a competant youngster to play in the back 4,.. pack out the midfield with instructions to protect the defence and rely on the boys upfront to go and win it for us with their individual brilliance.

Pep will want to control the game. Keeping possession out from the back is the key part of that. No way he puts an inexperienced player in there imo. He won’t blink about putting Rodri in there with Gundo holding.

Not so sure about that. He might decide to maintain the status quo in midfield to avoid disruption and put in an academy CB who has trained with the 1sts, so no need to change our set up, as well as our personnel. Possession will be crucial, West Ham are a good all round team, better than Newcastle or Wolves and possibly lower in the table than their performances merit. They will expect to win.

I'd say the opposite. decent team yes. But probably outperformed early in the season and have dropped off significantly as the season has gone on. Be very surprised if we don't win - not as easily as against Wolves but back us to get the job done

Seeing lots of rumours about Kyle being back for the weekend potentially? Does anyone have any genuine info?

Kyle Walker has taken a different view to his Manchester City manager, when speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live this week, going as far as to say that he may take to the pitch again this season.

"(The ankle is) alright, it's alright," he told the radio station, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News.

"I wouldn't say it's perfect, obviously it's had two very bad injuries in two games, but I'm hoping."

Walker continued, "I've still got hope until the end of the season, until that whistle goes in 90 minutes at the Etihad against Aston Villa, that's when I'll say my season is over and have a little bit of a rest."

"But I've still got hope for tomorrow, I've still got hope for next week, as I say, until the season's done, I'll not be done.

Wishful thinking or a genuine chance? Who knows.

Must not be as bad as Pep thinks then if he's out saying that

Wishful thinking I think. Would love to see him out there, but would be a surprise.

It would be a huge lift to the defence. Even if he only lasted 45 min. After the defending today we need Ake and Walker to play against Villa.
