I would stop worrying. They will always buy the odd good player due to the money they have. Their problems are so deep rooted a player (or two) of De Jongs calibre will not make too much difference in the short term. They are years away from competing.

I think that could be a possible issue, Nike wouldn't pay his wages to play with a Puma sponsored team.

And he would be contracted with Nike until 2025.

i think a lot of this deal is based on gundogans decision. as i understand at the moment its the 'plan' for him to move on. whether thats coaching or another club im unsure
