Alright I get the argument that it can be seen as business from Sly so they get to get the clicks from a more participating fan base such as this weird cult but even so it's still disgusting journalism and total disrespect for one of the greatest coaches of our time.

They have no shame, no shame at all.

After a beating time & time again they just ignore it and start again as if it never happened.... and the masses just go with them.
 
Just know, that no matter what happens, win, lose or draw on Sunday, the media can't take the joy, or diminish in any way what this could be! If all goes well, 4 seasons in 5 years Manchester City have been the best team in England. They will, of course, ignore our side of this title battle. They will, of course, focus solely on how Liverpool can desperately hang onto our coattails. And sure, those scourse fuckers may even win, but all of thats what the point is not.

When all is said and done the media will ignore our triumph or revel in our agony. But for those of us who came up through the late 80's and 90's, having a team like this is manna from heaven, regardless of results. Even those old cunts on here who saw us do this in the 60s or the new blood who don't know that pain of being shit, just remember that no matter how many times the media say liverpool in this two horse race, know that it doesn't diminish for one bit what this team is, what its fans are, and what we have been over the past 10 years. Champions FIVE times...and maybe a 6th. We've nutted up so many times in the league. And we will try again to nut up this sunday!

A couple of football twitter blogs have mentioned that the scousers can complete a domestic treble to join city in this illustriaous achievement, but won't hear it on Sky or Beeb I expect.

As we didn't achieve the quadruple (yet) we will have to wait till mid feb next season if we are in all 4 comps for that bollocks to be spoken about again.

No intention of reading the article but I'd bet his narrative all boils down to his personal preference between the clubs. We beat them hands down on everything else, although only one point separates us, and since when has spending ever come in to decide which clubs are judged to deserve a title.

What's he said to upset you Oakie? Every post on this long thread is going on about the shit attitude from the media. Not to mention the tens of thousands of fans who don't come on Blue Moon who are pissed off about it.
 
BBC Breakfast sports made up of their new love Rangers in the Scottish Cup, Wimbledon, both Rugby codes but thankfully no room for once for fucking Liverpool and Slippy G.
Perhaps this is a rehearsal for Monday morning PL free blackout because we win the league again.
 
And it's mainly about Littlewoods in The Grauniad...

The world and his wife know that jrb is obsessed with looking all over the papers/media etc just to find anything that carries a negative story about City.
Half the time theres fuck all to see in a story but he takes offence at an article that names us as Man City !!
Its an unhealthy obsession and he needs to grow a pair of hairy ones and not let it concern him so much.

Never in the history of all football have a team not deserved to win the league who won the league (with the obvious exception of every united season).

They only win the spending one as they have had more players that wanted to leave, yes we have had a couple but they have had more - it always means more to them, why are they not shouting about this that they have more of than us!
