It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

If City can sell these players for 80 - 100 million that money could be spent on younger players with lower wages.

Is this collectively or is this per player

Because we aren't getting £80-100mil for anyone

Jesus and Mahrez we'd probably let got for around £40/50mil and Sterling perhaps would be £60mil if a Barca or Real come calling but his wages may make that even tricky

i wonder if Real Madrid would be tempted to go for Sterling now?

After yesterday , looking at Sterling I would say he is certain to leave, he looked very subdued and reflect full.

You see what you want to see. You’ve been desperate to see bin gone for 5 years and now go looking for things to confirm it.

He was the first player to get to Gundogan to celebrate the winning goal with him.

Collectively

not all all mate but the same could be said about you who maybe doesnt want to see it as you obviously are desperate for him to stay?

But what you said is literally bullshit.

You have said he didn’t celebrate our goals yesterday.

Well absolutely no one celebrated the first 2, they grabbed the ball and sprinted back to the half way line to kick off ASAP.

And for the third he was, like I said above, the first person to get to Gundo and was then central to the group celebration.

So what you said was simply not true, and yet you’ve either made it up, or misremembered it to justify what you want to happen.

Lol no, one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Good acquisition by Villa, though! I had been pushing for us for months

Curious as to why he has joined a mid table team if he is as good as you say. Villa are good ambitious club but surely CL clubs in Spain, Italy and England would have been chasing him if he was all that.

Said it before and I'll say it again.

This fanbase does not deserve Raheem Sterling.

Pulled us out of the fire again by creating the first goal out of nothing.

And all he gets is shit for not celebrating enough. It's not even true.

Oh and he didn't go mental when he scored to make it 5-0 against Wolves, when he was pissed with himself for missing a sitter earlier on. Shoot the bastard.

How many times does he have to prove himself?

He's our best winger. When he plays on that right hand side we look 10x better.

Pep should sit down with him and promise him that right wing spot. Get him to sign that new deal. But for some reason he prefers Mahrez.

I don't get it, and I never will.

I think there's a lot of suspiscion around Ligue 1 players and how good they are.

Villa have had some success in that market with Sanson, Traore El-Ghazy & Engels so maybe they think they can get ahead there.

Apparently they hijacked the deal from Atletico Madrid and he is leaving a club that qualified for the UCL in France. The project and good money, one has to guess. Goes to show the top level that is the PL. He’s not going to be their only player that would have a place at a more ambitious club

Should use this to save some of that Rice transfer fee hehehe

Wrong thread bud, but Pep should not be guaranteeing him anything.

Probably true. It also demonstrates how hard United and maybe Arsenal are going to find it breaking into the top 4. The likes of Villa, Newcastle and West Ham are only going to get stronger.
