They spend a fortune every year, not sure where this myth of them having no money comes from. They bought Ronaldo a few years back for 100m and gave him away for a pittance.

Very good at getting deals for incoming transfers. Several "loan to buy" in the last few years which has allowed them to continue to dominate domestically (except this year) and they have reached a couple CL finals.

By all accounts they made a fortune off Ronaldo in PR and marketing and lets be honest, they have had the rags pants down by taking 15m off them for a 37yr old and they dont have to pay him any wages.
