There are pictures knocking around on social media of 250 ticket bundles of fakes so it's clearly being done on an industrial scale by organised gangs. Would not be surprised if there were links to the club somewhere along the line (ticket office, security, admin staff, etc.).I said weeks ago when they got there and we didn't that I feared for locals, tourists, and law-abiding Liverpool fans in Paris. Regarding the latter group, I didn't really have fake tickets in mind at the time and it was more to do with the possibility of Liverpool fans robbing tickets off their fellow fans like some did in 2007 in Athens. As it happens, it was less to do with that but plenty of genuine ticket-holding Liverpool fans did indeed end up with a shitty experience through no fault of their own and all those who bought fakes have to bear some of the responsibility for that. 50 or 100 fans rocking up with fakes is probably not going to have much of a negative impact but when thousands and thousands are doing it, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that there will be all kinds of problems.
Generally speaking, although I was annoyed as fuck about getting knocked out at the time I honestly think that we, as fans, have dodged an almighty bullet not getting there. I could see it getting proper messy if it was a City v Liverpool final and it goes beyond what some Liverpool fans might get up to. That would've only been part of the issue because going off some accounts, fans were getting picked off by locals making their way back to the city centre after the match. Then you add in some of the heavy-handed policing and it had all the makings of a nightmare trip, even if we'd brought the trophy home.
you can add players to that list....a traditional source .There are pictures knocking around on social media of 250 ticket bundles of fakes so it's clearly being done on an industrial scale by organised gangs. Bobby Charlton likes this post ;-)you can add players to that list....a traditional source .
Probably because they (Liverpool) had already bought the paper and ink.Something is simply not adding up here.
20k plus of fake tickets
Lfc demanding using paper tickets
The statium normally uses electronic tickets.
Why didnt LFC want to use the normal electronic tickets ?
Hold on a minute Oliver Holt, you biased hypocritical fucking ****
Where was this stance when we were being accused of FFP wrong-doing by fucking everyone and there dog
Ironically one of fake ticket sellers had a user name which included '96'.What I find odd is that every LFC fan who jibs in or uses a dodgy ticket spits on the memory of those who died at Hillsborough. Because overcrowding causes disaster.
Of course, we all know they are hypocritical twats, but even so...
Edited for accuracyProbably because they (Liverpool) had already stolen the paper and ink.
Beat me to it ;-)Edited for accuracy
They should have made them harder to forge, putting them on your phone is one simple way. Will lfc ever explain why they insisted on paper tickets ?
Many of those articles were borderline libellous, but I don't recall any apologies when we were exonerated.Spot on the hypocrisy is staggering. Labelled cheats for years, some of the articles printed in that period were fucking disgusting and it's still going on with this endless so called premier league investigation.

You know their "journo's" read this site?Has the
Echo published their "Why Liverpool's failure to score in 330 minutes of cup finals should worry Manchester City" yet?
