Yes it helps - but the mess is driven by international football. Most of our top players are with national teams now. Its going to be very limited time out before a very short pre season.
At least we atre a very well run club. Im sure we will make the best of a crazy summer.
Not entirely sure traveling to the states will please pep Either? Klipperty has cut short the dippers tour to avoid too much disruption.

Next season will start with Cancelo and Walker starting. But we will see as the season progresses how the new signings land. Usually takes a year for that.If he comes, could we see Cancelo replace Kyle as no.1 RB over the next year? Kyle still quick but he is 32 now so likely to tail off a bit.

By a dreadful start last season you mean us getting beat on the first game of the season then not losing again for another 3 months?Hopefully, we will close our transfer window quite early. We have to get used to that Sterling and Gundogan both will leave for free in 2023, hopefully, Riyad will extend, we need an experienced winger, the same with Foden and Rodri, but IMO we have to sign Cucurella and DM as soon as possible because we have to go into the next season in the best shape as possible. The beginnings of our last two seasons were dreadful, to be honest.

Not possible to find a like for like replacement, there is nobody as quick as KyleCancelo is not the type of player we need to replace Walker. Kyle has been one of our best signings. Finding a replacement will be very difficult.

As for Cancelo...i'd sooner see another right back found.

I'll take the lad, but he needs a trip down to One-cut Wally's hairdressers, for a short back n'sides.
I wouldn't, Walker is too important to City and still quicker than any other defender we have.
We saw how important he was for us in the European semi and the last couple of league games.
