That would certainly add some extra sauce to the rivalry if Sterling decides to move back to Liverpool….
Not Pogba. More related to Sterling and Jesus.
No we would have gone for Joao Felix if they both leave which seems more likely than notAre they moving together to Liverpool, Chelsea or United ?
Other than that, I don't see it breaking the internet.
Fans in general are stupid, especially scouser ones. Most of Liverpool fans are convinced they already have the best player of all time in pretty much every position (+ the best manager of all time). Not sure how they can come to this conclusion after winning just one PL title in 30 years but in their deluded minds its mostly down to bad luck and City buying the refs with our dirty oil money. Even if they hate him now it wont be long before they start doing some mental gymnastics to convince themselves Sterling snubbed City to join them at the peak of his career and they will immediately start a narrative that "Klopp will make Sterling win the Ballon D'or" if he would actually join them.Wow can you imagine after the hate he got to go back there.

I reckon they will ,they are 2 faced fuckers !the vermin lot wouldnt accept him back imo.
It's a balancing act with homegrown / foreign player quota's....People who say its not our money to spend are right, but at the same time do we really need to spend 50m on a Kalvin Philips when you can find players for half the price that is arguably better? Frank Kessie - can knick him before he joins barca on a free? Fabian Ruiz - granted he plays for Napoli but has one year left but imo is better than Philips. Renato Sanches (one year left) - yes he is a box-to-box but is adequate enough to do a job for a much cheaper price.
It isn't homegrown / foreign makes no difference to our squad. The reason we aren't looking at foreign cheaper players instead of Phillips for whatever we pay for him is simply the club think Phillips is the best option for our squad.Going of the last few years transfers and results, the club will most likely be proved right. It's a balancing act with homegrown / foreign player quota's....

I'm not sure it makes "no difference" to our squad - to be honest I don't fully undertand the quota rules but I think we currently have 8 "homegrown' players in the squad which is the minimum... If Sterling leaves then we are 1 HG place short...?It isn't homegrown / foreign makes no difference to our squad. True, but i do think that we always look at the english players first when we buy new players. Simply because i think pep likes the principle that the best players in any given nation plays in the best team in that nation. It isn't homegrown / foreign makes no difference to our squad. Think thats the case, we have ake who is HG, with sterling leaving that would be 7, couldn’t we just promote a EDS player like Mcatee, Lavia, Mbete, CJ etc..? Think we have 22-23 man squad with ferna leaving, if you count Alvarez tooI'm not sure it makes "no difference" to our squad - to be honest I don't fully undertand the quota rules but I think we currently have 8 "homegrown' players in the squad which is the minimum... Palmer counts too rightThere is no minimum quota of 8 HG players.
The rule is a maximum of 17 foreigners.
Also this is the PL rules, we have to build our squad via the UEFA rules for Champions League purposes so it's max 17 foreign players, 4 Club trained players and 4 English players.
We currently have 1 club trained player - Foden - and 6 English players - Sterling, Walker, Stones, Carson, Ake & Grealish.
So we actually have to list 2 English players as foreign players currently.

So we actually have to list 2 English players as foreign players currently because we've filled up our English player pot.
