~20% of fernandinhos minutes played last year were not at cdm. They were at cb and cm. Can’t wait to see Phillips line up at cb. Will be great.

And in the event of the same injuries happening again this season, it would be Rodri having to cover the role.
We all understand that no one matches up to Rodri,but we need cover.
As fans we might or might not like the clubs ,chosen player,but that is their choice and up to now,they've not done bad.

Cb like once? And never ever did Ferna play “cm” last season. And even if he did that was because of the thin squad and injuries. And now we’ve filled out the squad, so don’t hold your breath.
 
The point is not that city don’t need cover for Rodri. They quite obviously do in a dire way. It’s that if you’re providing cover for him why are they spunking 60m on the lad when there’s more viable options on the market / have been on the market.

Where have you got this mythical 60 million pounds from.
One deluded apprentice journalist who every City fan knows has an agenda against the club .
What price are you happy with them paying or is it,that you just don't want Phillips.
If its the latter,who is your choice and how much would they cost
 
He seems to commit quite a few fouls in the few games I've seen him. For England, against Hungry he seemed particularly wound up, charging about pushing, shoving and tripping players. Considering the ridiculous booking for Stones, I was surprised the ref' was so lenient to Phillips.

no one with credibility ever said 60m. It’s been quoted 40-50m by the only ones that matters
