The notion that Liverpool’s record signing will be coming in as only their eighth highest wage earner seems a bit fanciful to me. Unless his agent is a fucking idiot.
His agent is Jorge Mendes...sure he got a FAT signing on fee as he's not fool

Also i guess Nunes wage is heavily performance based which is quite well known noas how the Dippers do contracts as they do have considerably smaller basic wages (when you look player v player) and yet their total wage bill is only 10% lower than ours (£350mil to £320mil)

I always try and find some positive in any bad situation...the bad situation being that we are starting to have this habit of finishing 2nd to you lot.
The positive being that City are a truly great team and so to get so close and to (in my view and taking the sort of spin that the Echo usually puts on things) push City to being even better...has to have some positives to it.
Yes it is galling to lose by a point again, but then, really is there any shame in coming 2nd to this City side by a point twice?
Just try harder!
I'm not sure that Haaland is a game changer, in the sense that you are already at the peak, but that he will make it evemn harder to keep up with you. I see Nunez as an attempt to try and keep up...the old line of going backwards if you dont strengthen. Whereas, with Mane going and possibly Salah, they have to do something.
Certainly going to be interesting, especially when you lob in a mid season WC.
Good news is you won't finish 2nd next year. Bad news is you'll probably finish 3rd or 4th. But at least you can stop worrying about your bad situation

Love the fact that the rawk cult crew accuse us of paying players off the book etc. Well if we do it, not only where is the proof, but where is the proof that you don't.

Let's be honest lfc fans, if it comes to illicit off the book payments and the movement of funds into dodgy regimes, I'm sure your shirt sponsors could teach us a thing or two.

Perhaps that's the mistake we are making. If we get standard chartered to deal with all our financials, not only will everything be above board, our transactions will not be questioned!

With their sponsors, the media, and the lfc propoganda machine by the time the season starts Benfica will owe them 30 million for the Nunez transfer.

Wankers
How the fck could an international business pay someone off the books? It's not the 1970's and Peter Swales is running round with brown envelopes

I like this one from rawk...
I don't even know why we bother pretending this is a "competition" anymore. It's not just PSG that have UEFA in their back pocket, Man City are in a similar entanglement with the Premier League. The number of dodgy decisions that went their way over the last two seasons can't be coincidence. Money is changing hands somewhere. Wouldn't rule out the Tory government's involvement either. Last thing they want is Liverpool winning a league title and the spotlight being on our general anti-monarchy, anti-Tory stance. The establishment media are the same. Every single one of them is singing from the same hymn sheet, all bought off by the oil dollar.
They really are a properly special fanbase

Eighth highest earner would probably put him behind James Milner

Isn't Tebas saying we arrange appearances for the players in Abu Dhabi and then they get paid millions for turning up? Or something ....

All a bit weird.

I'm sure Salah and his agent will find out how much he's really on

I have just seen Facebook post that replied, to Darwin Nunez's story about his poor childhood that said this:

'Welcome to your new family, Darwin, you'll never go hungry again.'

I will leave that there.
Almost as cringy as the banner at the swamp welcoming Sanchez, his dogs and piano for their short stay. Dread to think what the scouse banner lovers will have for the new season.

I find this interesting. You could argue this fan could be a fan of any club with his them against us. Hell I had a united fan tell me that Liverpool is the media darlings. The self awareness amongst the dippers/rags is staggering.

The media/officials are against every club it seems. It’s a tricky circle to square. City fans know we are treated differently. It would appear that the authorities are playing a complex game. Cloak & dagger spy novel type of espionage goings on’s!

How do I prove that I am more paranoid than you? Tinker tailer scum Scouser…out now. Digital download only. Liverpool tickets not acceptable. Mild tear gas may be used. 10% off if you have an asthma condition :-)
Divide and conquer strategy from the powers that be. Keep us all fighting amongst ourselves, we never unite against them.

Imagine the chaos, if say, a European Super league were ever to emerge...

Liverpools fans narrative has changed
They’re now pointing to wages paid for new signings rather than the fee
One fan of theirs was arguing with me today about Haaland and De Bruynes wages compared to some of their players
I pointed out that they’ve lost the net spend cup they’ve gone on about for years after spending £85m on a striker with city paying 34m less for a better striker

He couldn’t take it
Apparently Nunez was 60m and Haaland 85m

Bunch of clowns
Every which way they squirm, they find that they're losing, so seek ever more flimsy evidence that they are winning at something.

Live by the ratio, die by the ratio.

So losing those two trophies must be hurting them even harder!
Lovin' it!
All...day...long

YOU WERE FOUNDED BY A TORY, YOU COMPLETE FUCKING IMBECILE.

Jesus. I vote Labour myself but Liverpool can do one with their whole 'everyone hates us because we're the nice socialist club' bullshit. They were giving it the big one about Lampard but forgot about Souness being a Tory. Also, I don't think Johnson is really that arsed about football, he only started following it last year when England were doing well.
Hmmm. Don't think so. Johnson's clearly been interested in footy for at least 15 years.

Heres how predictable the Dippers are,I guarantee there will be a Darwin banner of some sort harking on about History and Evolution.
You read it here first.

It's a staggering lack of self awareness being a Liverpool fan and complaining about refereeing decisions. They seem to conveniently forget both games against us last season.
