Anything is possible. Anyone says it’s not are wrong.
Would be best if we didn't win it every year as the league would become stale and boring like germany and bayern, so make it 14 in 20 miss out every 3 years as long as it isn't the rags or scousers winning it ;-)When the PL started, united only had 7 top flight league titles. If we carry on the same way, we'll be up there in 20 years. Quite possible we could win 12 of the next 20.

Of course in them years we win all 3 cups on offer
Centurions, anyone?I’m relatively indifferent to it all actually, despite posting it. Like you I just find the football we are playing at the moment fascinating, and I hope we break the points record and go down as the highest points finish in history, because the football to date deserves that.
It was just a good debate in person so I thought I’d post it here. I personally don’t think a team will ever be able to truely dominate because I think the spread of money will always mean that teams go in cycles, it’s harder to consistently build a stronger side. I thought our 11/12 side would be very dominant after that season, and it just didn’t happen because we stood still. Keeping this side moving forwards will be difficult because players to improve it are very expensive or unknown.
Can you add/edit a more prominent date stamp to the OP, whenever you change it, and what you did.8 and counting…
How’s that? Can you add/edit a more prominent date stamp to the OP, whenever you change it, and what you did.
Eg ‘Edit: updated as of 18/06/22’
Ta
The forum software adds a very small hard to spot ‘edit’ stamp, which is easily missed.
I had to do a double take of our 8 top division titles from 2017…
But it’s nice to see the numbers climb. :-)
It's taken them almost a decade but they've finally realised that statements like "this is Manchester United we're talking about" doesn't actually mean anything and that past success counts for nothing. The damage has been done to united now. I believe they’ll sink into obscurity as far as the league is concerned. Maybe the odd domestic cup here and there.
They’ve been left behind too far, and comedy appointments like Wally Gunnar have helped seal that. The big players won’t go there. They’ll attract the next level - for money.
You can sense it in their fans’ attitude. They know they’re back to pre-premier league and they will be on a long, long road before they realistically have a title winning side and us and Liverpool go on the decline. Foot ball is cyclical, and this is a prime example of that.
I go into the next 20 years of my life with them a nothing of a club, with us gobbling up title after title. We’ll surpass their league title haul. 100%.
And I feel we are still improving as a club every passing season.. I suppose if the league cup is there then the Europa league should be too. I’ll get round to that one day.Total of above (2017)
United 40
Liverpool 38
Arsenal 27
Chelsea 19
Spurs 14
City 13
Total of above (Today)
+3 Liverpool 41
+0 United 40

+9 City 22
+2 Chelsea 21
+0 Villa 20
+0 Spurs 14
So in the last 5 years we've added 9 trophies, Dippers 3, Chelsea 2 (shouldnt this be three, FA, Europa and ahcmapions league?) and the rest Nil
We can close the gap, it'll take time...but it's possible, we ain't going anywhere
Relegation? Give over, we've never been relegated in our proud 14 year history.Never say never
But it's a hard task even at 2 trophies a season it will be difficult to overhaul them. To think we use to be more worried about relagation CTID
