Why does it seem like it’s the plan to not replace him?If I thought we would replace him, I'd let him go. But it seems like the plan is to just go with the forwards we have, which would be a huge mistake IMO.

I’d be very surprised if we replaced Sterling this window if he does leave. We seem to prefer to wait for the right player rather than panic and rush to sign someone we arent 100% sure on.

I honestly think we aren't signing a replacement for Sterling if he goes. With Haaland and Alvarez. We'll have the same amount of options we had last year after we sold Torres (if Gabby and raz leave). + Palmer might get more minutes?
Sterling hasn't been at his best for a while. But my other concern is that with Sterling leaving we won't have pace on the wings anymore. We are truly leaving the Sane-Sterling era.

I think the kid is fantastic but can he give us either immediately or long term what we need. Its a gamble that I`m sure Pep has an answer too.
