He does, and usually in pressure cooker moments but posted the other day on this, his numbers, despite those flaws, are elite level and I’d love to see comparable stats for his 7 seasons for a winger across the top divisions… I’d say he he outperforms them all!

I’d also add that the first two seasons, one under Pelegríni then first understanding Peps methods, were essentially write offs, that alone combines 80+ games, so those numbers are even better considering!

It’s not about deleting them, it’s understanding the measurable growth… you remember the narrative to his game post transfer right? Would never add goals etc etc, well that has evolved with the coaching he was afforded, you’re right, one can’t eradicate the two seasons but you can most certainly say that once his game was polished, he has phenomenal numbers which I’ll again reinforce, ones which aren’t touched in his position!

The fact he wants a fortnight to think about where he sees himself moving forward tells a picture to me, if he really wanted to be here next season this all would’ve been sorted by now. There’s better wingers out there imo and it’s time to get the right fee for him and move on. However he has been a good servant for us and I’d be a twat to say he hasn’t.

He wants a fortnight to see if anything better comes in, more like. I reckon he was hoping for someone like Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. He's already at the best club in England, so any move in the Premier League just makes him less likely to win things. I know there's the element of him wanting to play every week, but it's not like he's not still been playing a lot for us. There's also the fact that if he leaves next summer instead, he'll probably get a better choice of clubs (admittedly ones that didn't want him enough to pay the fee) and get a big signing on bonus into the bargain.

He can, but who knows how many options will he have same as now.Unless he want to play for Arsenal or Tottenham or Chelsea I don't see him in Italy, his other option is Spain Barca are fucked right now, Real Madrid maybe, depending of some other events.Right now I don't know would he count as non eu if he would move to Spain, if so then Real can't sign him this summer.
