Felix the cat kicker maybe!:))Is the big iron a west ham player? ;)
Wee Davie Moyes, Pep has rejected the contract extensionSo you’re still not sure who this BIG iron is?
And Stuart Pearce as assistant. Need to go back to the good old 442.Wee Davie Moyes, Pep has rejected the contract extension
Uh oh. After seeing the phrase "melting the internet" 5,000 times, we're now about to be inundated with "big iron player" posts. :DI believe Grealish is the direct replacement and Phil will get more games on the right.
Bernie staying would almost certainly change some of the thinking, but still being told we have a big iron in the fire.
There were signs last season that Salah was past his best, I think Liverpool would love to cash in on him this summer.Problem with Salah is the length of contract. You could end up with an ineffective player for a couple of seasons on 15m + a year.
Much improved but he has missed a lot of football with injuries, and it nearly cost us.Hope we don't sell Ake, he was brilliant for us last season.
As long as Beanie is part of the deal, I am inAnd Stuart Pearce as assistant. Need to go back to the good old 442.
De ligt has a 120m buy out clause, non-runner imo. Chelsea offering 45m plus Werner according to reports.I'd be tempted to sell at that price, especially with the likes of Kounde and De Ligt on the market.
Makes us a bit one dimensional on the wings, Grealish, Mahrez, Palmer are the same type of player. None of them have Sterlings pace in behind that terrifies full backs
Bayern would declare WW3 if we pulled that one off.Had his name mentioned to me only the other week, funnily enough.

Be very surprised if either of those came in when we have Stones, Laporte and Dias already. I think it would be another slightly lower profile defender or perhaps a show of faith for Mbete if required, he has just signed a new contract and been around the first team a while now.I'd be tempted to sell at that price, especially with the likes of Kounde and De Ligt on the market.
Think the lads on the outside are likely to be the full backs with the wider forwards tucked in. Instead of tucked in full backs.I appreciate what you are saying, but I have always maintained Sterling's pace is something of a myth.
In the first two yards, if he stands you up, then it's bye bye...
His advantage is mainly down to his clever runs without the ball.
However, if you are talking pace on the run over a number of yards, he can be caught by a few.
I'd imagine Haaland's true pace, certainly against any high line daft enough to try, will also create space for the lads on the outside.
Besides Felix, this is an utterly insane list. Here a few we might go for if Sterling goes..
lewandowski
Felix
Neymar
Bowen

Has a ring to it. Just like the flop we purchased that was moved on from Chelsea.!Headlines would be funny in England. “City sign Arsenal flop”
