Why do all aspects of the media call the rags by Salford RLFCs official nickname of 'The Red Devils' whereas very few fans, not even the armchair fans call them by that swiped nickname? The Americans will be pushing that for commercial reasons, no doubt already got names already sorted for all PL teams for future use.
Why not just call them the rags, their traditional for 80 or 90 years? It's short it's sharp it's descriptive. SCUM and Shit would also suit but l sense sponsors would not be so keen on them..
