Gutted he's going. I'd sell any of last seasons front line bar Foden before Jesus. I think he's crucial in the big games when we need him to set that high tempo that gets us so many big game wins. I think we will drop noticeably more points against the better sides without him and he will be a big loss. I want to wish him the best but he's going to a club with a horrible set of fans so I just can't. Will always get a very warm welcome whenever he's back at the etihad.

Not having that point about dropping more points v the bigger sides.

Haaland alone will see to that.

Prefer Spurs to Arsenal since the takeover. Arsenal club fans managers have been moaning twats towards us in the last 13 years. While Spurs are still one of the Spiteful 9, it was Arsenal’s letterheaded paper that was sent to the Premier League about us that time. They are in with United and Liverpool as the ring leaders of hate against City.
All in the same bracket for me but fuck Levy

With the addition of Erling and Alvarez, Gabby's game time will be more limited next season so I totally understand why he wants to leave. Always put in 100 per cent and I hope everything works out for him at Arsenal.

I'm just asking. That is what Fabrizio has put on twitter and he normally includes add-on fees if there are any to his tweets.

Thanks for confirming mate.

Like you say, he usually confirms the whole value of the deal, so the fact he hasn’t may well mean it’s £45k flat.

I guess we’ll find out tomorrow!

Yeah. I'll be a bit disappointed if we caved from our original £50 million asking price. Considering Arsenal are desperate for a striker and had no other options lined up. We really should have got what we wanted.

Jesus is a winger not a striker :-)

£45m with 1 year left is not bad. City treat departing players with respect. Sometimes at our own financial expense. The flip side is that players talk and the next star will not think twice upon joining us.

The clubs reputation is worth more than a couple million.

£45m is a good deal for us. He has 1 year left and he wanted to leave. Our negotiating position is not great. I think we originally wanted £50-£55m so we're not a million miles off.

We are well stacked in the positions he plays and him leaving effectively pays for Kalvin Phillips.
