oh yes 99% sure. "We'll replace him next year" sadlyBig mistake if we allow Ake to leave.
One injury to a CB and we have to play the same pairing 3 times a week.
Knowing City we'll allow Ake to leave without a replacement.

After a season where our squad was 2 players short of what it needs to be, we’ll go into this season with even fewer players. I really wish we’d actually give Pep a complete squad to work with. Imagine how good we’d be.

It is June 28th for crying out loud. Of the players who made up city's first team last season, 0 have been sold, 1 was released on a free. Probably sees an opportunity to be higher up in the pecking order and starting LCB in a Chelsea back 3..
Getting someone in to be 4th CB is not easy though.

Very disappointing with Ake going (especially with the squad depth) but if there were any players going our direction Reece James would be good swap; more than likely it would be cash only. Just a little risky with 3 Centre Backs and 1 in-experienced player.

Scouse mouthpieces are getting noisy about Bellingham. There’s a clamour to sign a central midfielder. Liverpool have so far been briefing their business is done, but fans are fewwwwwming (la) that they aren’t picking up a CM.
At current count, including the sales of Sterling and Jesus (not counting purchase of Cucurella), we have around £150m burning a hole in our pockets.
I reckon if scouse move on Jude this summer, we’ll move too.
