I can understand fans fears that at this moment in time it looks like we'll have no players left, with all this media transfer nonsense. I might be completely wrong here but there's no way we'll sell more first team players than we'll actually bring in. So far it's two in, zero out, but that will change in the next few days.
I'm guessing five in, three out. In- Haaland, Alvarez, Phillips, Cucurella, Ortega. Out- Jesus, Sterling, Ake
But in reality it’s not three out, it’s five out - Fernandinho and (if we bring in Ortega) Steffen will also be leaving.
Five in - five out.
Leaves us with a better balance to the squad given we’ll have an actual left back and a proper centre forward for the first time in years - but does leave us one lighter at CB.

Mbette as signed a new deal this week.But in reality it’s not three out, it’s five out - Fernandinho and (if we bring in Ortega) Steffen will also be leaving.

Jesus - I’d actually forgotten he even existed for a minute there.
I mean, I think it’s safe to say he’ll never play for us again - whether he gets off or not.
But I guess we’re stuck with his wages for another year whilst the case works it’s way through all the legal back and forth - which clearly has an impact.

Id be ok selling for good money, but what its worth, unpopular opinion...given a run, hes shown signs that he would be more safe hands in big moments than laporte.. but we obviously wouldnt play ake over stones or laporte on form alone. If thats the case, sell.

That extension is all about protecting his eventual sale price We belatedly wised up after we let Toisin go for an utterly laughable £1.25m.
Luke isn’t anywhere near as good as Toisin tbh but we should end up getting much more for him

Defense is not a position academy players can be back ups in, it's just too risky, they need experience first.
Doyle and Harwood Bellis are above Mbete in the pecking order imo.
