Our academy is producing brilliant footballers, Foden is a key member of the team and the best young midfielder in the world. Palmer is on the brink of a big breakthrough and Mcatee will probably get a look in a season or two. We are more than entitled to big our academy up, it’s the best in the country by a mile. Lavia will do well at Southampton once he settles, I just don’t think he had the chance at City at his current age.Every young player is pele in the eyes of many on here. And we say united big up youth, Christ
Twitter is missing you.Is anyone else getting a little concerned were selling practically most of our bench.

#ThisMeansMore. If City did sign Neymar would it benefit Liverpool Football Club?No need for the abuse lads, 10 years i was young and was given wrong info. I still aint saying i am a ITK. But i can claim im a KIA now. Know It All.
Tick Tack Tick Tack… Neymar
Good point, forgot about thatThere are new rules in relation to loaning players so the sales of the likes of Gyarbi, Bazunu and Lavia are most likely the club getting ahead of the changes.

Yeah, lets the lads get settled rather than being shipped out year on year or every 6 months if it goes tits up.Not so sure that's the main reason. The new cap won't apply to U21 players, which all the ones the club has recently sold are, so they could still be loaned.
It looks more like the club have changed their strategy and are going for a straight sale with a buy-back rather than a loan. The benefits have already been highlighted by a few, seems to be a good shift.
Ederson - Ortega - CarsonCan anyone be arsed to do a squad list, i can't but would be interested to see how it's looking with the planned sales and arrivals.
Was a thin squad already but feels threadbare now.
