Chelsea fans again I guess?
I remember Match of the Day praising the Kop for pointing out the scrote that threw the bottle.
In fairness, some of their fans did too but even for back then it was an embarrassingly slanted take.

He is making a big mistake if he goes, but, whatever
Let's face it mate, apart from him setting up gundog in the villa match his form has fell off a cliff.

His demeanour and his attitude in the last couple of months has been slumped shoulders and feeling sorry for himself.

It's very stale with him and a move will suit both parties.

Remember Joe getting hit with a missile at Goodison 6th round game in 1981 (Always a target in Miseryside). Slightly embarrassing though at the next corner at the other end when Mick Lyons had his forehead gushing after a City missile landed.

Sorry I stand corrected.... but it drew blood correct?
Don’t recall the drawing of blood but you may be right. I do remember him going down as a result. Maybe someone else may be able to confirm whether or not he lost consciousness.

Funnily enough, I do remember drifting in and out of sleep during Gone with the Wind that night. Something I had to endure whilst patiently waiting for Match of the Day to start! My dad had, for once, allowed me to stay up and watch the highlights. We didn’t have a video recorder, so I had to muscle through.

Have to agree, I watched a replay of the Villa match the other day & he was a bit nonchalant about the whole occasion, even chewing a piece of straw or something whilst collecting his medal, he had the look of somebody who is on their way

Turned his phone off afterwards... awol. he wants out & has for a while it seems.

£55m for a player in his final year of his contract isn't a bad deal. Raheem has been excellent for City and has played a major part in our success over the last 3 to 4 years. However, on saying that it is probably a good time for him to depart for a new challenge. Good luck Raheem.... apart from when you play against City.

I also agree and thought it ages ago, he may well find form again elsewhere, but won't while he's moping around here

I am thankful for the things he has done for us but his demeanor has been kind of off for a while. At one point he looked run into the ground after playing almost every game, and then he just looked kind of pissed off that he wasn't playing every single minute of every game. Great player but he has to realize that nobody and I mean nobody has the right to be on every team sheet for every game for a club fighting on most fronts until May every year. I hope he has the same form v us as he has done versus dippers and rags for the past 7 years.

Did they edit the bit where he started the comeback.?
