£350k a week?

Not a chance... loves the club, boyhood fan, posters of Michael Owen on his bedroom wall growing up.

Playing for the love of the club and his weekly petrol bill.

400k a week plus bonuses (according to every single scouse fan last week all their wages are heavily incentivised so expect that figure to rise significantly) £15 million "loyalty bonus" and £15 million agent fee. All in, they've paid over £100 million for a player they already own. It will of course be reported like this because "true cost" is now the important figure not net spend.

Well they are gonna have a few players wanting pay rises now? VVD was their top earner on £220,000 a week wasnt he and salah was on £200,000? Diaz is allegedly on £56,000 a week!!

So his agent was taking the p1ss out of them just before the announcement.. suggesting he had got one over on them hopefully...

They've absolutely smashed their wage structure.

£350,000 a week plus bounses

Guaranteed the agents of Van Dijk ect will be asking for pay raises
I was told by dippers i know that they wouldn't pay him " De Bruyne money" because Van Dyke has it in his contract that he'll be paid whatever the top earner gets.
This might get interesting!

5th highest wage bill in the world as per the last set of financial statements.

since then, they've signed Diaz, Jota and nunez for around 200 million, their 8th, 5th and 1st highest transfer fees in their history. It's fair to say the price you're willing to pay for somebody generally dictates their importance and so that will be visible in the wages they'll get too. there's no way your new record £85 million star striker is being paid less than a zimmerframed 86 year old Milner for example so all 3 will be on the higher end of the scale. they've also signed Thiago who is one of their highest earners.

Then on top of all that, they handed out 12 new contracts last season, mainly to key players including Alisson, trent, Robertson, VVD, Henderson and fabinho.

Their wage bill is going to be astronomical in the next set of financial statements released and will go up further the following year.

Working miracles on a shoestring.

Two words.

Philippe.
Coutinho.

You just know that this deal is going to be spun to show it being a fantastic deal by their cuntish disciples and better than anything anybody else has ever managed to pull off.

So predictable and irritating in equal measures.

Media wanking themselves into a frenzy with Sly leading the way in their usual total arselicking manner.
