Formula 1 2022

Ricciardco really is stealing a living - he needs fucking off pronto.

His “top lad banter merchant cheerful Aussie” shtick wore thin about two years ago. He’s nowhere near good enough.
If Horner hadn't bombed him out of Red Bull he'd be world champion by now.

Absolutely brilliant the way Verstappen kept the car in control ending up the right direction and even finishing that round 3rd. Champions stuff. I’m sure you wanted to hear that.
Do you knock one out over a poster of him before you go to bed every night? He cant do anything wrong in your eyes.

I admit he'll piss the title this year thanks to Ferrari's reliability issues. He's nowhere near the Senna like staus Red Bull fans are giving him.

In my view it's a bit simplistic to say that it's due to Ferrari's reliability issues. He's driving with much more maturity this season and handling pressure very well.

I think winning the Championship last season, whatever peoples views, has made a very positive impact on him. Personally I don't know of anybody who gives him the 'Senna status', but perhaps you know a lot more people than I do.

I'm really enjoying watching him drive (and Checo), along with the performance from the whole Red Bull team. I'll enjoy watching his progress and you never know, one day he may achieve that Senna status you speak of.

Nothing from Max Verstappen condemning Piquets disgusting comments.
Why should he?

He's no more responsible for what comes out of his 'father-in-laws' mouth, than he is of his fathers................or you for your father/father-in-law.

Why should he comment, if he does, it will just feed the social media gutter trash, regardless of what he says. If he had made the respective comments then fair enough, but the fact is he didn't have any direct involvement in either of them.

I’m not a Verstappen / Red Bull fan at all but he did condemn them. He did an interview on Friday after free practice and spoke very maturely and strongly on the topic. There’s a clip on YouTube that’s very easy to find.

Says who? Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn’t. His best days were at Red Bull for sure though.

As a McLaren fan I am just really frustrated with him. Compared to Lando (who is a sensational young driver of course) he looks like someone’s drunk granny behind the wheel. He’s so far off his teammate it’s embarrassing. McLaren need to be ruthless and fuck him off at the end of the season.

On the upside with Norris and Russell the future is bright for British drivers. They’re both future world champion material.

To be fair, you could say the same about some of the Hamilton fans on here. Me? I'm not particularly gone on either of them. I'd love to see someone like Leclerc, Sainz, Russel or Norris win the title. But that's not going to happen, is it?

Same. Though after the way he dealt with the obvious injustice in Abu Dhabi last season made me warm to Hamilton a lot. He took it like a gentleman and not a petulant arse, which I didn’t expect.

I’ve found myself rooting for him and Mercedes this season.

I’m a McLaren fan though and I’m desperate for Norris to be a big success. He’s ridiculously talented and seems like a thoroughly nice lad.

Looks likely to be another victory for Max today.
Maybe. It’ll be fascinating to see how Ferrari play this - whether they give some team orders and/or mix up the strategies to give the upper hand to Leclerc to reboot his title chances, or go all-in on Sainz to take points off Red Bull.

Fair point.

No I don’t. I like F1 and especially when the drivers are actually racing. It’s become too clean and too save.
I prefer motor racing. But I do keep a close eye on F1. Nothing like watching City winning for over 45 years now.

Obviously because I’m Dutch it pleases me when Verstappen wins. He simply is a fantastic driver. And there are many more. And you can re-read my comments to see that I don’t like the bitter disrespect for Verstappen, all due to a decision he had no part in.

Never had or will have any issues with Hamilton or Russell or Norris to name a few from the UK. And Hamilton took his loss last year as a gentleman. No thanks to Toto Wolff or the British press who once again did an attempt to put RB and Verstappen in the wrong spotlight.
