Alexandole Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

seemingly Gove told him this morning too and Liam Fox is going to see him to tell him he has got to go. I suspect PMQ's earlier then Javid's speech have done for him the Liaison Committee must have members waiting to get their pound of flesh before he quits

Fox has apparently sent a letter which the BBC just read out. Basically "go, and go now".

Johnson - chaotic from school to the present day - how many people - employers, wives, lovers and party members he has assured that he has learned his lesson and will change

Apparently the 1922 executive committee are meeting Johnson tonight with the ultimatum of resign or they will change the rules by the end of this week and he’s forced out

I hope he goes out with a bang and calls an election. Feels like the ultimate power play with the mandate bollocks.

Call an election and take the entire party out with you.

I don't really want to see the conservatives spend the next 9 months distancing themselves from the man they propped up and hid behind for 4 years and scraping an election win because morons believe they're different to him.

That’s what they will do, get a new pm throw some sweeteners to the electorate to make them forget about Johnson. Trouble is their ain’t much they can do at the moment, probably why Sunak went as Johnson was trying to loosen the purse strings again and give out free money.

The most extreme option he could try would be to demand loyalty or be deselected. He could go into an election with a new slate of nodding dogs. He did a purge last time to clear out those blocking his Brexit plans.

However at this point he has no authority. I genuinely don't think he can replace all these ministers and he is already in control of a zombie government. If he doesn't go in the next few days the tory machine will move against him with some speed.

So many ex-Tory ministers are now out of contract. Feels as if this should be in the Transfer Forum. Maybe Boris needs Txiki’s help.

Carrie can have whatever position she wants. Boris will come out of this meeting and find there’s nobody else there.
On her knees with her gob round the Johnson johnson would be my guess. Although that would more likely be his choice tbh.

I really hope he calls an Election. It would only be right. How can anyone trust this party again? It's been a complete and utter shit show for a couple of years now.
