He’s also tarred with the law-breaker stain, yet I think he’ll have the money, nous, and allies to get to the final two. If he does become prime minister, it’ll be interesting to see if he starts doing the things Johnson asked him to do but he dragged his feet over: what changed? If he doesn’t land the post, however, he’ll be out of politics at the next General Election.
