What Bloom will do is try and insert a buy out clause in the new contract. £50mill or some other stupid figure. Meaning City will think twice. If Cuckoo stays another season, and if he has another good season, City or another club will have to pay the buy out clause next season. Bloom is playing a blinder.
Could be risky buisness, you never know how it will go next season form & injury wise. Dont know what he's on wage wise at Brighton but its not going to be anywhere near what City can offer. If they do insert a release fee it will have to be nearer 70m otherwise its counter productive if City are willing to pay £45m this summer.

We will have had a squad overhaul and whilst the players like Haaland and Alvarez are potentially exciting, there are no guarantees. Victims midfield offers me hope. Another year older, more miles on the clock playing King of Cuddles heavy metal football. How long can the asthma inhalers work? Spurs will be closer but surely they’ll be too Spursy. I wouldn’t discount Chelsea.

It’ll be an interesting season at the top for the neutral.
Agree with this. We won't get a picture of what's happening till after the break for the World Cup where any top six team could be devastated by some key injuries or player fatigue. This will be one of the strangest seasons ever which may open things up for a team like Spurs but their defence looks a bit dodgy to me. Chelsea are also an unknown quantity. I think Sterling will be great for them. I also believe a lower points total will win the league this season than recently.

If Pep went tommorow would you take Potter on straight away or if Pep said hes leaving at end of season would u take Potter now to work along side Pep. Hypothetically question i know, just intrested in ur thoughts.
I used to be a fan of Potter but not after your team tried to kick us off the pitch (think it was before the CL final) and he behaved like a prick on the sidelines. He apologised afterwards but I don't think the City hierarchy were impressed.
However the way your side demolished the Rags last season playing fast-flowing possession football was hugely impresssive..even against such weak opposition..so the jury is still out on Potter long-term. I also believe Brighton is one of the best-run clubs in English football on and off the pitch so Potter must take some credit for that along with Bloom.

So I wonder if it’s Cucurella or no one?? Are we desperately wanting a LB or Cucurella or bust?
City will have a maximum price they will pay and if Brighton over value the player we will walk away and look at alternatives, possibly Raum or Ait Nouri. I hope we can get the Cucurella deal over the line as I think he is best option out of the 3.

He's a long way of the best option.
