Agree on a LB...don't agree with Palmer being nowhere near Sterling's level...the kid is great on the ball and a better fit for the way we play now than Sterling...I'm willing to bet that by December no one will be questioning our attacking options...Bernardo obviously needs to stay, but Palmer is nowhere near good enough to adequately replace Sterling. We need a signing at least on Sterling’s level because over 60 games we cannot afford a drop in standard when we have injuries and/or suspensions, and CL games two days after a league match, etc.
We can put out an absolutely superb first XI when everyone is available, but over so many games we need double that amount of players without the drop in standards a young kid causes. We need a left back, hopefully Cucurella, and a top class right winger, ideally with pace.
