Fears that Woodward leaving would bring some sanity to United have quickly faded
 
This is becoming a scenario where its bordering on harassment now. How many rejections does it take? If De Jong was a woman and United were trying to woo her they'd be on a register by now.

Seems they're about to sign Martinez, a dwarf of a centre back who is capable of playing left back to add to the left back they've already signed, all whilst having 2 first team left backs in Shaw and Telles already. Seems like they've really sorted their shit out this summer and have a clear plan...

Or are they just trying to corner the left back market to limit our options?

Frenkie de Jong's agent has told Manchester United the Netherlands midfielder, 25, is open to leaving Barcelona but does not want to move to Old Trafford

Desperation is the word of the day.
 
Looks like De Jong is nearly complete for this lot. How do they manage to keep buying big but rarely sell any players for big money?. A terribly run club
