It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Is selling zinny in comparison for what we paid for him not good conduct to go for the next target?
Zin was a bargain in monetary value but it’s all down to his character that he succeeded when many would have left. Using that money makes sense but I don’t agree we should get ripped off. City is in a position of strength. Move on as this transfer is going nowhere fast.

That's from June 25th and United have signed a left back since then...
I am not saying united want him but more the links tend to suggest we are ready to move on from Cucu due to price. Or using it to get bloom to the table with a lower asking price.

We aren’t being ripped off though, his value has gone up from his performances, that’s how it works

A good full back has been 50m for some time. You can’t base a transfer on what the team before paid for them. That’s mental
Bendy was not worth £50m. I base the price on unrealistic evaluations. It’s high and city know it’s high otherwise the deal would be done. Txiki working his ass off trying to get it down.

15m - 50m? He must be the best lb in world football. 1 good season and the jump is massive.
Its not as clear cut as that. Brighton have a strong hand due to the contract in place. They are under no pressure to sell. Id tend to agree its slightly high but if we want him enough thats the deal….
