I *think* you’re being contentious here (if not then ignore the following) so I’ll bite.

It’s pretty obvious there were rumours - ‘Neymar’ and ‘Neymar to City’ was trending on Twitter last Thursday. Just because it’s not been written in a paper, doesn’t mean it’s not a rumour.

Ironically, now this French report has come out I bet we do see it mentioned by one of the usual sources at some point in passing rather than it being made a big story of.

The article says that PSG wanted Bernie to be included in any deal for Neymar. We didn't accept the offer.
