Post is so 19/20th century.I’ll have to change my post to 1997?
I feel baffled when I see City fans say they aren't going to this game because of who we are playing. As you say, they are mainly shirted up normal fans. I can hardly remember any trouble when we've played them anywhere.I don’t think I’d describe City fans as civilised. The way people bang on about Liverpool fans… we have more arrests than they do every single year.
City United Birmingham Leeds and Cardiff are often the Top5 or are definitely in the Top10 when it comes to fan arrests every season.
I always think Liverpool’s away support at the Etihad seems like a soft group of shirt wearing mixed age fans. I think we have more nutters than they do.
However you cant arrest Liverpool fans as it's against the law.I don’t think I’d describe City fans as civilised. The way people bang on about Liverpool fans… we have more arrests than they do every single year.

We’ve had more mither off Leicester Arsenal Chelsea Brighton Wigan and the worst two United and Villa than we’ve ever had from Liverpool down at Wembley. Liverpool fans have been alongside Watford Sunderland and Stoke as the least troublesome fans for me.I feel baffled when I see City fans say they aren't going to this game because of who we are playing. You're dead right. A brilliant pre-season workout for all involved. It has had it all. Queues to log in. Wetpants amongst our support panicking that it wouldn't sell out (one record breaker at 9.10am on the day of sale used the word "struggling"), Fluctuating demand and now as we enter the home straight, goalpost-moving batches of returns meaning we have to keep the champagne on ice.been a good workout for the seat counters, an ever altering allocation, lots of qualifying criteria, can only bode well for a good season of counting
Same for me.We’ve had more mither off Leicester Arsenal Chelsea Brighton Wigan and the worst two United and Villa than we’ve ever had from Liverpool down at Wembley. Liverpool fans have been alongside Watford Sunderland and Stoke as the least troublesome fans for me.
Same here. A firm of City were marauding around for the 2012 Charity Sheild too but I don't think they saw much resistance.Same for me.
To be honest, apart from the semi-final vs United in 2011 ,I've never seen any aggro at Wembley, the surrounding area, tube stops and even Euston Station.
That's odd. We’ve had more mither off Leicester Arsenal Chelsea Brighton Wigan and the worst two United and Villa than we’ve ever had from Liverpool down at Wembley. Liverpool fans have been alongside Watford Sunderland and Stoke as the least troublesome fans for me.
EDIT- it did nearly kick off at a service station on the way home from the 2014 EFL Cup final after a larger group of Scousers picked on a smaller group of City fans from our coach so a big group from our coach all banded together and confronted their coach but they didn’t want to know.
I saw a punch up on Wembley way with Arsenal fans, there was a huge fight on the roundabout with Chelsea fans one year, Leicester fans were supposed to be knobs at a tube/train station (didn’t see that one myself), Villa fans were coin throwing spitting grouping together and staring out families and shirters, saw one fight on the way down and one on the way home at service stations between City and Wigan fans, United were also targeting families and shirters in 2011 kicking people from behind walking down Wembley Way and a funny one was seeing loads of Cockney Reds knocking about everywhere calling City fans “facking Maaync cants”…Same for me.

Indeed. I meant 2016That's odd.
We played Sunderland in 2014 ;-)

Just had my ticket turn up in this mornings post.
However no sign of the coach ticket that I also paid for.
Does anybody know if the coach tickets are being sent out separately, or do I need to contact supporter services to find out what is happening ??
I was stood at the roundabout vs Chelsea in 2013 and a City fan walked past with his nose bloodied and busted .I saw a punch up on Wembley way with Arsenal fans, there was a huge fight on the roundabout with Chelsea fans one year, Leicester fans were supposed to be knobs at a tube/train station (didn’t see that one myself), Villa fans were coin throwing spitting grouping together and staring out families and shirters, saw one fight on the way down and one on the way home at service stations between City and Wigan fans, United were also targeting families and shirters in 2011 kicking people from behind walking down Wembley Way and a funny one was seeing loads of Cockney Reds knocking about everywhere calling City fans “facking Maaync cants”…
I agree it definitely a long way off the 70’s to 90’s scenario. I would go as far to say it’s more dodgy for the dippers visiting our gaff. I did see some mither at the efl final but that was our lot attacking them on the tube for no apparent reason other than being scousersnever seen anything more pathetic than people saying they won't attend because we are playing Liverpool, have a day out at Anfield, it's a theme park of scandinavians, irish and orientals
Cheers pal, I've emailed supporter services, I'll see what they come up with. For the game last season when they were giving out free coach places, ( semi final was it? ) Anyway they posted out the match tickets and emailed the coach bookings nearer the time. So presumably they’ll be doing that again, so I wouldn’t worry just yet.
Or put it another way. You have a mate you go to all the games with but because he was on holiday/working/skint you have to jib in seperatelySome interesting points. Didnt know Liverpool gave priority to people who attended FA Cup games over Season Tickets. It must put people off going. Imagine you've sat with your mate for years, go the game together, go away on occasion and because he was on holiday/working/skint/etc/etc and didnt go to a cup game but you did, neither end up going as wouldn't be sat together. 2 sales lost.
Not just a Liverpool issue obviously….
We have more arrests because Manchester dibble arrest people.I don’t think I’d describe City fans as civilised. The way people bang on about Liverpool fans… we have more arrests than they do every single year.
