Most overrated City player ever?

I think Sane's potential was overrated. He was a lazy bastard and a lot of matches he put very little effort in, which led to him being benched a lot of games in his last season. He scored some great goals but it seemed he only turned up when he wanted to.

To say Dunne is the most overrated is one of the most offensive, ignorant, ridiculous statements I've ever heard

Richard Dunne was an absolute legend for City and should be put in the same bracket as Kompany imo. Maybe we didn't nearly win as much with him at the back but if it wasn't for him, Distin and Barton we'd have 100% been relegated

4 player of the season awards Speaks volumes.

PUT SOME RESPECT ON HIS NAME
I guess it all depends on what "overrated means" think of someone like RSC, Bony or Sinclair to name but three, did anyone really rate them? Its the fact he won 4 player of the seasons that he is even included in such a list.

Not read the thread so may be covering old ground here.

Sane is the topical one given the way everyone pines for him to come back whilst simultaneously celebrating sterling (a much better servant to the club and more professional even in his exit) leaving.

The big one though is Negredo. The way he's spoken about on here you'd think him and aguero were strike partners for a few years. He had like four decent months. No where near the player dzeko was for us, let alone no where near the career of dzeko.

I'm not saying he didn't try, but he certainly wasn't miserable when walking around the pitch after the game.

Well paid as a centre forward and I think from memory never scored more than single figures in the league for us.

Then after 6 years with us seemed to instantly love Sunderland more then returned to slag us off on every TV comentry

Just a guy that really bugs me
Idiot

Out of interest, when was he laughing and joking? He got substituted and later ran on to the touchline telling the team we needed another goal. Then fronted up to the media after the game.
As you said he was running up and down the side of the pitch! Fully changed in pants and shirt if I remember screaming at the lads on the pitch we weren’t safe when they thought we were! Never saw him laughing
